windows virtual memory low

well help a poor college kid out
this is what the system says i have

Intel(R) Celeron(TM)CPU
1200MHz
1.20GHz
128 MB or ram

i have system restore shut off

what can i add on to this thing so its not so slow i know its a piece but for now its what i got

and im running windows xp
 
Well the big problem is your RAM, the bare minumum you should have if you intend on running any apps is at least 256MB, 512MB would be better.
 
ok will do guys have a computer tech look at ...ha it actually shut down and doesnt work for now as of last night about a hour after i asked this question.....everything powers up fans, cd drives, power light in the back, but nothing starts up monitor doesnt show anything its not the monitor had another one that works and it did nothing too
