Windows Vista Activication Problem!

Hi i have windows vista business installed on my laptop - its a genuine (original) but when i enter the product key when told so. it would not let me activate the vista!?!?!
when installation was finished. it said 30 days to activate!
please help.

hi no it doesnt give any number.

Activation Options:

Opt 1: Activate before installing
Opt 2: Activate after installation!

I have tried both ways of activating it!
yet it still doesnt activate - i also have has 3 different (NEW!) product keys to try it with vista business but still dont work.

go activate after installation and once its install vista, right click on computer and go properties and there should be a thing to activate windows, you should be able to do it online but if not, click activate by phone and ring them up and follow what the phone system says

ok thanks but wont they try and make me purchase a new product key when i have like 3 new ones?

Happened to me with a new copy of Business right out of the box. I somehow ended up on the phone with them and the guy kept asking me how many computers it was installed on. Seems to me that it would be apparent to him that that particular copy had never been registered before, but for some reason it failed online registeration. Maybe this page will help
