Windows vista keeps changing display settings

Hello, I have a problem with my computer.

In the display settings, my main monitor is set at #2 and the default one on #1,
And what is happening is, about every 3 hrs the screen goes black, and the display goes to the #1 monitor, and i have to get a torch and try to change it back to #2 (the backlight is broken, i cant see anything without a torch)
I am getting very frustrated with this. Please help.

Would it not be better to have your main monitor on 1 as the default. Isn't using a (torch) alittle extreme. Like a flashlight or lamp. lol

Well, the problem is that the backlight is broken, i can not see anything when the display is set as the #1 monitor, so the #1 monitor is so dark i can not see anything.
