windows vista loads very slow after security update

Hi all. I am using home premium 32bit OS. My vista loads fast before an update which after forces itself to install for no apparent reason. I saw the shut down icon with update but I delibrately click the other shut down button without the update.
The strange thing is that after I power up my pc, the pc becomse very slow aha why because it is performing the updates without my consent and after I was forced to restart the pc after the update.
The frustration is this part. The pc restarts itself thr bios and later to the OS loading bar then to the welcome screen but it freeze there with the configuring updates and restart itself thr the same process for a few times before done configuring which then went into the desktop. Is this normal??

My internet explorer also cannot start after the update after which I restart the pc again which took ages to restart where it freezes at the shut down screen then after the restart everything was back to normal and I could launch the internet explorer.

Another noticable thing is that my OS loading bar only took about 7 to 8 times but after the update it becomes 10 to 11. Who knows if another update would make it more than 15 bars. I just find windows is becoming slower and slower after every update.

Windows vista is fine but why does an update causes it to slow down??

Did you do a scan? post a hijack this log in the Antivirus Section of this Forum, a gamemaster or ceewi will take a look.

Hello!
Sure you can post a HijackThis log, and we can see if it's malware issued...
But I don't think so. It's most likely some usual Vista problem...
What are your computer specs? RAM, memory, CPU?

We need to know yr ram, cpu, hdd, gpu. Also if the experince score is under 3.8 its most likely going to be like that;)

My Vista boot time also increased after a recent update. I don't think it's a virus/spyware as it only happened after an update. And my computer is more than capable to run vista.
