Windows Vista Passoword Help!

Hey I recently Purchased a HP Pavillion Dv 9000 on here not to long ago. And the guy sent it to me where i have to put a password in when i turn it on. and the guy isnt replying to me to tell me the password.Is there a way to work around this to take the login password off or change the admin acount?

There are ways to break the password but that would be against the forum rules.
if the admin account is lock the only way is to get that password from that person.
