I started having problems after I installed Kaspersky anti-virus software. My Y!Messenger and Sidebar begun freezing and I got messages like: Y!Messenger has encountered a problem and needs to close... APP Crash and stuff.. so I decided to uninstall Kaspersky today, but now my sidebar doesn't show anything and I can't read my messages in Y!Messenger.. pls help me.. I have a pic of the sidebar but I dunno how to post it here.. help!!

For posting screenshots and other images you have to registar with a site like photobucket or imageshack. Once registared and you upload an image or photo to the site there you simply copy and paste one of the links seen with it like either a direct link for a separate window or a thumbnail.

A thumbnail would be like the image I'll use for an example here.

The second here shows how you highlight and right click to paste a link at the site where the items are uploaded to.

Here I disabled the sidebar completely from loading up with Windows and can simply create a desktop shortcut rather then going through the Start>accessories motion.

You still have a few traces of Kaspersky being loaded up along with Windows. Go through both the startup and services tabs in the msconfig utility to uncheck any items still seen listed and restart the system. Once disabled you can manually remove any remaining folders.

The free Eusing registry cleaner is an automatic cleaner that can scan for useless and no longer used registry entries once you have any items left disabled to see those cleaned up. You may still end up having to reconfigure Y-Messenger which sounds like Yahoo Messenger.
