Windows Vista XP prices

Here's the prices for Windows Vista... Apparently, they were "accidentally" posted on the Microsoft Canadian Retail pricing webpage at 8AM this morning. Bet that person is fired now if the stunt wasn't an accident. Or, it might have been retaliation against the company for firing someone... Anyway, here ya go!

Wow I never thought the Windows Vista Ultimate was going to be that price. I wonder what is in that version that makes it that price.

Well it also says that XP Home costs $259 CAD, which is obviously much higher then you can get it for now.

The only way you can be sure of actual retail prices is when Vista is finally out in the stores and the online vendors. I can imagine that the Ultimate version will probably see some $234US or higher initial retail tag when iit is finally out. The basic full install vesion would see around $180-200. The premium and ultimate versions retail higher due to the additional features and programs included in those versions. The retail box may include another cd to go along with Vista itself.
