Windows Xp Black Screen Boot Startup Help!!!

my comp was perfect..built it myself..then i started havin issues with the winodws i had..i couldnt download windows updates so i decided to try cracks etc.. i came across this exe. crack..i tried it then it sed restart comp for it to work so i did..then post/bios is fine, windows loads is fine..then the screen where the log on comes on and everything is black..i can jus see the cursor..now i hav lik a corrupted version windows on my hard drive and i dont know wut to do plz help
 
Well, using a crack(discussing cracks/anything illegal is against forum rules btw) is probably the problem. That could have just been a virus or something in disguise. Try booting in safe mode and running virus/spyware scans and try to remove that crack.
 
well, the crack seem to have cracked your computer.

first, its illegal.
second, its against forum rules,
third, i can't help but say.. that's what you get.

Lastly, I think you might be able to recover it with a reformat;) ... you can try recover first.
 
yea i apoligize for mentioning the cracks..everythings okay now i unplugged a sata driver n everything worked fine(installation) then plugged it back and everything was good!
