Windows XP CD Key Help

Whats up all? I was just wondering if there is a way I can find out a CD Key off of an XP Pro CD. The company I worked for had 5 OEM copies of Pro that they were throwing out. I asked for them and they gave them to me. Problem is that the CD Key is on the wrapper and on my last CD, the wrapper is long gone. My friend just built a box and I was going to give him this copy but I have no idea where the key is. As I said, these copies have already already bought and paid for by my former company.

I dont beleive the key for the cd is integrated in it, because basicly all oem copies are the same, they just use differnt keys to activate them, which are authenticated online. You can look up the key of the OS if it has already been installed and actived on a system. Check download.com for some programs to do that.

Unfortunatly, i dont think its ever been installed. I was going to install it on one of my brothers friends computers and put the sticker on the bottom of his case. He ended up buying his own copy and now, of course, the sticker is not on his case.

Well, without a cd key on hand, its just another copy of xp floating around. Check your company for the original reciept or invoice, maybe that could help you out. Otherwise sometime microsoft can actualy be helpful, call them up, tell the situation, and maybe they will believe you, especialy if you can offe some proof.
