very good day

got again the antivirus 2009 xp virus, and tried to remove it, however when I did that I suddenly couldnt do anything anymore. also when I went into safe modus and tried to do system restore, I could open it and select a date, but after I selected a date and the last warning I couldnt click on next anymore, the next button would just not work. could click last, or could click cancel but not next

so after that normal windows xp would sometimes start up normally and could work in it. but still couldnt do system restore or anything, could do antivirus check and remove couple trojans.

however sometiems it wouldnt start up completly and then couldnt click on start, or any buttons in the lower bar. and also ctrl alt delete wouldnt work

and now it keeps jamming up, and cant do anything in normal windows

does anybody knows what to do with this?

Plug your hard drive on another computer via USB transfer cable. If you don't have one, I highly suggest you pick one up. Download Malware Bytes Anti-Malware and scan that drive. It should remove the virus.

I performed malware bytes in safe modus on the computer.
and it deleted like 14 trojans and other stuff, (btw it is not my own computer. it is my parents)

however, then I restart the computer, and went to normal windows xp, and everything worked fairly good

however when i restarted again it wouldnt start up again, during the startup it would get a blue screen for a milli sec and then reboot again. but I can get in safe modus.

think windows xp is screwed up by the trojans. do you guys think it is restorable

oyeah, when I went to system restore, there are no data's that I can choice from anymore. for some reason they are all gone:mad:

hope somebody can help

Back up whatever data you need (music, pics, etc.) and reinstall windows.
