Windows Xp Home Edition have problems

i did something wrong on my comp so i had to reboot everything and now i cant even go online, and some of my drivers cant belocated, why is that? can someone help me get online...
 
Yup, but you must be sure that you had activated your system Restore before :-p

otherwise, try to reinstall it.
 
go to Device Manager and tell us which drivers aren't installed, modem, nic, wireless nic, ... :confused:

none of them are, my system cant detect it, gRAAHh so frustrated, i restored it like 3x and same thing happend, cant log onto the interent, since they cant detect the ethernet, as well as other things...

by this do you mean you formatted your hard drive :confused: ? if so your computer will not find the drivers as there not there...you will have to insert the cd that came with the hardware eg modem and reinstall the drivers from there
 
I agree, or you can download the drivers from the computer your using to post these messages, burn them on cd and install on your computer. :)

ah ok, will do, and yea i formatted it, im stupid enough to know back up my stuff, GRahahHHHh i dontl ike making noobie mistakes!!!
 
ah well we all make mistakes...but i guessed youd formatted...no amount of restore will do there...oh well we all learn from our mistakes...i have made some pritty dumb ones in my time...i tried to figure for half an hour why i couldnt hear my music...then saw my speakers was off (hangovers arnt good) :D
