lets assume for a moment that i own 4 computers, some in different locations. (1) Dell, (2) Power Spec, and (1) which i am building from scratch. The Dell and Power Spec computers came with OEM verisons of XP Home installed from thier factorys, and came with thier own recovery disks and key codes. The question is...
(Q)- If i buy a "full" version of Windows XP Home ($200.00) to use with the computer i am building from scratch, would i be able to use that same software to re-install Windows on the three other computers, that have other key codes? Can i use that new software on those computers but use the key codes that came with the computers when i got them?, or will the new software only work with that One key code it comes with?
