Windows XP Media Center Edition Question

Okay it is odd but I have fully updated my computer after a full install of the operating system but something is different than before when it was fully installed and it is missing the '' Media Extender Resource Monitor '' something that I found is very difficult to get back but is the only way to connect your xbox 360 media center to the pc media center. how do I get RMsvc.exe back that was the process at which is ran on. how come my computer did not fully update? windows update says that my pc is fully updated and RMsvc.exe is not in the ehshell folder in the windows folder. it is a black bar at the bottom right in the system tray and it goes from green, yellow, or red depending on how much resources is left. now I cannot seem to be able to get it back??

Thank you for any help in the finding or retrieval of my extender resource monitor.


Also I do not know how I double posted all I know is I hit post and it was taking FOREVER to do something and I stopped the webpage and fixed a typo and added a sentence. sorry for the double post.

No that does not work at all.. Windows cannot find that file... Anyone else can help me out with this?

I have Windows Xp Media Center Edition 2005 with all updates and all windows updates and all frameworks with framework service packs and service pack 3 and updates associated with service pack 3 now when I click update it says there are no new updates for your computer.

but I still do not have the resource monitor.

I cannot find it anywhere on the internet Ive looked it is supposed to be installed via windows update but I have all the updates. I need RMsvc.exe so that I can connect my xbox 360 via media center but media extender resource monitor is needed because thats where you put the code that your xbox 360 give you.

Also to note my xbox 360 connects I see a white circle with a exclamation mark stating my xbox 360 has indeed connected to the network I click okay and NOTHING happens... I remember the last windows installation I had I needed the extender resource monitor in order to put the code in that the xbox 360 gives... now I have no clue what to do with the code the xbox 360 gives on the pc with media center. please some help with this would be great maybe a download link to download RMsvc.exe program?
