I have just installed XP pro on my computer and i can surf the net fine, but when it comes to downloading ANYTHING it wont, it just eithe rsits there saying its halfway done (which it didnt download to there, it just started with the green download bar halfway) or it wont even do anything. Just sit there with the download screen with no filesize, downloadspeed, nothing.
its not the disk as i tryed putting it on one of my other computers and it works fine.
i have reformated this computer tme and time again with no change
any help is appreciated. Thank you.
edit: its not a trojan.. as i have tried disconnecting from the internet, formmating, installing AVG free (better than norton sad enough, and its free -.-). then connecting to the internet again.. no luck
