Windows XP Pro, cannot detect hard drive.

Hey:

I'm confused. I re-installed XP Pro, but can't find my hard drive. One I bought the computer, it was setup with 2 physical drives, (C:, 40G) and (E:, 80G). RAID was setup as you can see below, Z: was the backup folder/drive (produced by RAID?). After install, all I can see is the C: & the Z: drives, each have about the same amount of space of course. The E: or 80G drive is nowhere to be seen, not in disk management or anywhere.

When I installed XP, based on the info below, I believed my system to be setup with RAID0. I downloaded the MBFastTrak 133 (tm) drivers, put them on floppy, pressed F6, and installed them (so I thought). Also, I don't remember choosing 'RAID0' specifically, but when the CPU starts...it still says the same as below in the Disk Drives section.

I need some help with the following:

a. How can I get the drive back?
b. If I re-install again, but just don't specify anything for RAID, will my drive show back up?
c. D344PRT SCSI Controller - Can anyone tell me what this may be specifically? I didn't have the drivers for this, but when I do a search on Google...I can't find any information about where it came from, what it is, where the drivers are...

Disk Drives:
Maxtor 6E040L0
Maxtor 6L040J2
Promise 1 + 0 Stripe / RAID0 SCSI Disk Device
Promise 1 + 0 Stripe / RAID0 SCSI Disk Device

SCSI and Raid Controllers:
D344PRT SCSI Controller
WinXP Promise MBFastTrak 133 Lite (tm) Controller

Any help is really appreciated.

Well, XP is installed on the C: drive, so I can get to my desktop, bios...wherever, just not my E: drive.

Go into BIOS, if your second hard drive exists. It sounds like you'll have to partition it, did it have anything on it before the install?
