Windows XP Pro Corp
Windows XP Pro OEM
Windows XP Pro Retail
Windows XP Pro Upgrade

ok, i know the difference beetween the OEM version and the Upgrade... the upgrade is for people who already have a previous version of windows and wish to upgrade, OEM for people who are reformatting the drive and installing it... but wut is Corp and Retail??? i was pretty sure that retail can be used to upgrade and to do a fresh install... but i have no clue what Corp is????
what is Corp?

Heya

Corp = Corporate - business oriented (for companies)
Retail - boxed version in the shops

Corporate Windows XP Pro is bought by companies with multiple licenses giving them the right to install as many copies as they paid for. The retail version is what you would see in a shop in that fancy box.

thatnks, is corporate faster... cus like does it have less resources running then like professional Retail would... because businesses wouldn't need as much stuff going on as a regular user would...
so baisically does corporate have a performance difference?

Hmm

As far as I know, the only difference is in the licensing but not in the resources being used nor the poerformance.

they are all identical once installed, it's just that the corporate does NOT require activation, whereas all others do
