Recently my computer produces an error message:

Windows cannot find rundll32.exe

I now cannot run outlook express , firewall and other facilities. I have tried Registry Mecahnic and RegCure but neither has cured the problem.

I have run AV and Spyware Doctor, both report no errors.

Help:confused:

Of course it said that because there is no such thing in defauly windows installation. It cause by virus...
Try this.
Open regedit
navigate to HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WindowsNT\CurrentVersion\WinLogon
look for shell
double click it
edit value to Explorer.exe

That should fix the problem

A few things you can do to get rid of that. Follow the steps in this thread and post the requested logs.

Also you might want to type "msconfig" without the quotes of course into the run box and click ok. Then click on startup tab and uncheck anything that look suspicious or anything you don't want running at bootup. I would suggest doing the Malwarebytes and Hijackthis scans as most likely you are still infected with malware.

Hi,

some viruses can work alongside spyware to make detection and removal extremely difficult.

You should delete all temp files and also use registry cleaner because it involves the use of

different applications that do a large bulk of the work in malware or spyware detection.
