332mb over SP2's 266mb! MS is deciding to throw in a ton of things when they finally get that finished including IE 7. It's a little too late to see an SP3 disk for XP to be seen now that Vista is out and the supposed Vienna version will be out in a year or so. As for rushing to grab the beta release? If you don't mind reinstalling Windows later to see the final version go on.. fine.
Beta means far from finished however like many found out with the RC1 and RC2 beta versions of Vista. They couldn't figure out why games didn't run well there. Beta is beta! Maybe by late 2007 the real thing?
