Windows XP shutdown style

While messing around I found a program that was supposed to help optimize windows. Stupid me I never created a restore point before doing this. Anyway now when the computer boots up I get a screen similiar to the Windows 2000 version and it ask's for pw however I dont have one. After I hit enter it will go to desktop. Then when I go to shutdown I get the old style shutdown as well instead of the XP style. Can anyone tell me how to fix this?

go into control panel--->User Accounts Hit the "change the way users log on and off" link and turn on the Welcome Screen. You may also have to enable Fast User Switching

I never used the login screen before, I just went right to the desktop.

Edit: It worked, I guess if I add another user or add a password then it will stop going right to desktop.

Thanks for the help!
