windows xp sound problem

i have problem with sound there is no windows xp sounds like whe i attach usb flas drive or opening folders while there is sound from internet browsers programs like windows media player youtube...2 days erlaier i enter bios to enable setting for amd cool n quiet technology but after that I SELECT LOAD DEFALUT BIOS SETTINGS after that this problem appears how to fix this please help sorry for my bad english

Go into control panel and into sounds and audio devices and click on the sounds tab, make sure the sound scheme is set to windows default.

as your issue I have met it before.
you can solve it by enabling windows Audio in starting service of windows.
