Windows XP write to USB issue

Hey guys, after having no luck with the Windows 8 install and finding drivers and such I've decided to go straight back to Windows XP since it will probably be faster and will still have access to all the programs that I need.

The problem that I'm getting is when I'm using the Windows 7 USB download tool.

When I put the folder below in the program it is telling me that it is not a valid ISO file.

Any ideas as to what may be going wrong here?

okay, cool thanks, I'll give that a try.

Right now I'm using Everest to try and get some drivers for Windows 8 but it could be going better :D

I really don't understand why you're trying to install such an ancient version of Windows though, can't your computer run Windows 7?

It's a 900hd, it originally came with XP and the only drivers I can find are for XP

EDIT: and the compatibility downloader isn't working, I'll only be using this for like itunes, pictures and small editing so XP should be no issue really

EDIT2: Still nothing with the above usb tool. Says my file is incorrect but the XP ISO is inside the folder.

Try changing the filename to something much shorter. Depending on the path you might be running into the windows char limit.

Wait, is it just the .iso file in that folder? You need to extract or mount the ISO and use that as the source.
