Windows7 Live Movie Maker can’t upload to YouTube

It says I have the wrong email address and password. I have no idea what is going on or if there is another email address that I’m not aware off. When I go to YouTube itself, I have no problem uploading it.
So where can I find whatever email address it thinks I have?

Iv never used this feature. It may be a bug that never got fixed. I think I will give it a try and see what happens with me. I just find it easier to upload the video through youtube.

EDIT: Does this screen pop up?

If so, its looking for your Windows Live login not your youtube login.

Or if its telling you to login with your current username and password, then logout and log back in by manually typing in your password. Thats what I did and it seemed to work after that.

Oh! OK that might be the problem.

I thought it was asking for the YouTube login, :o

Well I don't even know what the other is at the moment, but I guess I'll have to go through Windows Live to reset it.

Thanks for your help. I already uploaded my video so I'll have to wait until I have another to see if it works, but I'm sure that's what it is. Thanks again:good:

Yea. And its one of those things that are there but not really "there", so if it is a bug it probably wont be fixed. I never got my video to upload, but i also dont remember my youtube login which it asked me for after i manually typed in my windows live login.

What I didn’t understand is how Windows Live can upload to my YouTube account without knowing my YouTube login info. I’m going to make another video tonight and try to upload it with Windows live and see if there is another window that asks for that info.
I use Windows Live to edit the video like cutting out the mistakes or just making it an acceptable length, but it would be nice if I could just send it right to YouTube when I'm done instead of all the extra steps it takes. .

Yea when i had my old video camera i used movie maker almost daily. But that was on windows xp back in 2006-2007 and i dont think it had that feature haha. Iv used this movie maker a few times but mostly for adding images to audio to upload to facebook (music i record).

But yeah, after you manually type in your log in for windows live and try to upload the video another window should pop up asking for your youtube log in.

Just save the video and upload it to YouTube yourself.

Well that's what I have to do now, but I still need to edit the video and it has a button to send it on its way already formatted for YouTube so why not use it.

The other way is a lot more steps or so I believe because I haven't actuality used Move Maker to send anything..

All I use MovieMaker for is to downscale my massive 1080P videos to a smaller size to make YouTube upload easier. I just save it for YouTube; I don't send it directly.

Well I give up.
I got past the Windows Movie Maker protocol, but now Google is blocking me at the YouTube level. They want me to do it through a Google email account and I don't want Google taking over my computer or my life.
