Winows Live Messenger + Windows Media Player 11 Add-On communication Issues

The name of the thread sounds complicated... but all it is that i used to have "What I'm Listening too" switched on, an Add-On in Windows media player.

It gave BSOD (Blue Screen of Death), and i have no idea why, i know this is the problem as every time my PC recovered i had to turn the add-on back on.

I sat there and watched media player and the second the song finished and it was changing song, it sent the new song to Live Messenger and *blip* BSOD.

I now keep it off and have not had a BSOD since, it doesn't bother me i can just leave it off I'm just wondering if anyone knew what was causing the problem?

Dammit, i spelled Windows wrong in the name of the thread as well :(

Run a virus scan and defrag your HDD.

Do you have the latest codecs for WMP11?

(P.S. Change the size of your sig, it's irritating and it hurst my eyes :P )
 
Yea, i have already done all that, i have done everything that i can think of to try and fix it (which is a lot) and still, nothing :(

msn can be a backside pain when to do this sometimes it works, sometimes not.
i sometimes put myself as "away" and it appears like 10 minutes later

this might be dope but have you checked the option in WMP. Tools-->plugins ?
