i have windows xp and gentoo linux on same hard drive. it boots with grub. is there a way to clear hard drive completly and not screw it up, then just install windows without boot problems with grub?

1. We dont live here so theres no need to bump after a day
2. Lemme get this straight, you want windows, grub but no linux?

i wanna get rid of linux and grub plus i am having problems with windows so is there a program that will wipe the heard drive and then i start from scratch and reinstall windows?

so should i just reinstall windows and that will do it? casue i partitioned my hard drive into 2 one for windows one for gentoo and then gentoo has multiple pasrtitions in it. so just by reinstall windows it will wipe my whole hard drive including gentoo partition?

ok i gonna go ahead and do this tommorow are there any last things i should no. i hope windows will just clear the whole thing!

Well provided you've backed up whatever you think you need to backup, go ahead and torch the partitions :)
