Wiping Laptop

I've had my laptop for a little over a year now, and I use it for work as well as my basic war games. Well, a month or so ago after I installed some software (I can't remember what specifically, but I uninstalled everything possible) and thins started to lag during game play. I've ran numerous virus scans, uninstalled everything possible, deleted every hidden file I can find, defragged, and reinstalled my settings.

I tried the disc that supposedly resets Windows but it didn't do anything positive for me. Actually, it uninstalled my sound drive so I can't use sound on my laptop now. How can I completly wipe everything on it so that Windows will be reinstalled and it will work like new?

Thank you in advance for any assistance!

if you have the Windows disk just insert it into the cd drive,Restart the laptop and follow the screen instructions.

you will need to format the drive first then install windows.

its realy simple just delete your old windows partion and install new.
