Ok so heres my problem hopefully you guys can help me. Btw this is my first post. I recently purchased a new samsung laptop with 4 cores and 6 gigs of ram and I have been extremely impressed. My laptop is connected to the net via wifi. Today i set up my desktop that runs ubuntu 12.04 next to my laptop assuming i could connect it to my laptop via an Ethernet cable and could access the net that way. This is where I ran into trouble i don't know how to set up the sharing. Any info you could give me or a link with step by step instructions would be greatly appreciated. My pc isn't equipped to connect to the wifi network so don't suggest that.

The idea is to bridge the wired adapter to either the wireless or wired adapter that's hooked up to the Internet. Pretty easy to do in Windows if you're sharing the connection from there, but in Ubuntu, I have no idea how to do that, sorry.
