Wired & Wireless Network Monitor Software

Hello Everyone,

My network structure in my office is as follows:

One Main router (wired+wireless)

One Access point (wired+wireless) taking internet from main router

One Switch connected to Access point

15 computers (wired connection)

10 mobile devices

I have no problem with the structure or the internet.

My main problem is that I need a software tool to monitor the network flow of all the wired and wireless devices and gives me at the end of every day, week, or moth a report for downloads from every device (wired+wireless)

I install it to my computer connected to the main router and see all the 15 computers plus 10 mobile devices.

I think that my computer has to be opened before any other computer to monitor correctly.

Many thanks for any help.

I'd suggest getting rid of the gateway router and use pfsense which allows for all the functions wish.

It can be installed on a tiny machine as long as its x86 or even a VM. This would in essence replace the 'main router'. You'd have access to all settings via a webpage like normal. You require a dual NIC on your VM or machine used to install pfsense on a USB using Rufus and then just install like any other os by booting into it.
