Wireless Access Point w/ 2 Wireless Routers

Is it possible?
I have a WRT54GS that will be connected to my xbox and desktop PC(when I finally build it) through an ethernet wire and a WNDR3300 that is connected to the internet modem.
How do I get these two things to communicate with each other?
 
If your only connecting an xbox and a desktop you should only need the WNDR3300 or am I missing something?

I think I know what your getting at though, could you elaborate a bit more on your idea?
