Wireless adapter not always working after Windows 7 sleep

I've got a Zyxel G-202 wireless adapter.

When Windows 7 comes out of sleep mode, the adapter sometimes does not enable. Disconnecting and connecting, disabling and re-enabling both do not work; the computer has to be restarted. If I put it in sleep mode manually, it comes back fine; so I think it might not be sleep mode itself, but something else power management related. It seems to happen if it's been in sleep mode for awhile, like and hour or so.

I did notice that there is no power management tab in the adapter settings, and the program that came with that adapter also has no power management settings. I check the latest user manual for the program, and it shows some power settings where mine has none. I updated the program it came with to the latest version and the drivers also, but nothing.

The only power related thing I have found is in the custom power options in Windows 7. In there it lists the wireless adapter as running full performance without power savings.

Any thoughts?

Do you have the latest driver installed? There are a lot of issues with systems coming out of sleep or hibernation.

Driver provider: Atheros Communications Inc.
Driver data: 7/29/2008
Driver version: 2.2.0.27

"Windows has determined that the driver software for your device is up to date."

I didn't see an easy way to install the 5.20 (2010) driver, but I did install the 5.20 version of the program. It came with a driver which I assumed would have been the same one.

Program link (should include driver in the download): http://www.zyxel.com/support/downlo...20060126090414&mtype=&keyword=&submit=Submit#

[Edit]
I uninstalled 5.20, and went back to the original driver. That's why it says 2.2.0.27 currently. I didn't notice any difference.
