Wireless Adapters

Hi there, I'm using a DLINK wireless adapter (Link) and it's doing it's job...except very slowly.
I'm not your superstar when it comes to wireless but all other computers connected to the internet network are getting superfast downloads and I'm getting it muuuuuuuuch slower.
I'm just wondering is this my adapters fault? Or something else?
Any help much appreciated

How's the connection if you go directly wired? Can you test this, and does it work any better than wireless?

Have you tried other drivers for the wifi card?

It used to be much faster (we moved and the router ended up far away from me )
Im not sure what other drivers to use
