Wireless adaptor question

My new wireless adaptor works great, however, it seems that if I switch the USB port that its in, even with the computer turned off, I have to reinstall it. Is there anyway to fix this? Do I have to use the safely remove hardware tool if I need to disconect it?

Also the conection keeps on being interupted and I have to repair it.

when you disconect it and reconect it onto the same usb port do you need to reinstall it or is it only when you change ports? Cause some devices does that (like my printer) I don't know if there's a way to solve that.

yes if u change ports that can often happen but if u use the same port u shouldnt have any problems
