Wireless Belkin pre-N router and Desktop card

I have a cable modem with cable service and I want to setup a wireless between my two Dell desktops (one on the second floor and one in the basement) usin the belkin Pre-n router and do I need a lkin pre-n pci desktop card. What do I need to do? Can you give me step by step instructions to do this. I really am a novice. Please help!

Unless the Pre-N router has the ability to run in non-N mode then yes you will need the Pre-N card
