Wireless Card not working

What motherboard are you using? When you inserted it and booted into windows does the system recognize it and ask for drivers?

Thank you so much for the help, I guess the last forum I used didn't really pay attention to what I was asking. Again thank you, it has been bothering me so much why it wont work.

The only question I have is when I look at the description of my motherboard, under expansion slots it says I have a PCI Express 2.0 x16 and a PCI Express x1, so I don't understand why it wouldn't work?

Sorry about that. I didn't see the pci express x1 slot on the board, since its colored brown and blends in with the board. Either the pciexpress slot is bad or the card is bad.

Either way you'll find out if its the card or slot if you get a pci wireless card. And if the video card does cover the last pci slot, you can always take it out and use the onboard video just to test. And the bad thing is, this is one of the issues when using a microatx motherboard and a high end video card. You should be using a regular atx motherboard.

So I was able to find an old PCI card and it works but it has a broke antenna and doesnt work well, so I think I will just get a PCI card. What I need help with now is deciding which one to buy. So if you could recommend me some or just some brands that would be helpful

Thanks

Not really as gaming shouldn't be done on wireless anyway as you get higher latencies and ping. All depends on the game you play I guess.
