Wireless connection prolem

My laptop automatically detects wireless internet connction and connects to the wireless internet with no problem but as soon as plug in power to the laptop the internet connection goes away and it doesnt detect any wireless netwoks in range. When I unplug the power and operate on the laptops battery source the internet comes back. Any ideas???????
 
It sounds like it could be dodgey and interfering with the internal workings of the laptop's wifi card. It doesn't sound like it would be a software problem; have you tried running it without the batery and just the power plug. Other than that, is it actually charging your battery (is it working properly?).
 
I figured it out. There was a button I had to press to activate the wireless network card. It must have been bumped or something. Still kind of weird that it only worked with the battery
