Wireless connection show no packets received

I use roadrunner internet service with a DI-524 d-link wireless router.

for some reason the computer that uses the wireless connection is not working, so i went into the router page, 192,168,0,1 and clicked on the status of the connection.

All others are working fine just that the wireless connection is transmitting but not receiving any packets.

The desktop that is connected with the Ethernet cable works fine.

I tried to reset the router, turn off the modem, and reseting the wireless configurations and the wep encryptions. but nothing works.

Any idea what may be causing the problem?

thanks aloot

I had a similar problem a few times since June, it seems to happen monthly but now since August it seems to be happening less and less thankfully. My advice go into your router's setup page and lower your MTU settings. This also helped my high ping problem. A word of advice though, if you use Xbox Live don't drop the MTU setting below 1364 or your Xbox or 360 won't be able to connect to the internet.
