Wireless dropping out

My setup:
Router - Microsoft Wireless Router
Desktop - Windows ME, hard wired into router
Laptop - Windows XP, DLink Wireless card
Laptop - Windows Vista, internal card

My problem:
Untill yesterday, my XP laptop woudn't connect to wireless. It was working perfectly, but the laptop crashed and I had to do a system restore but I couldn't get the wireless working. I could see it but for the life of me, I could not get it to connect. I installed network magic and it seems to be working fine now.

My vista laptop will fail to get access and a reboot will be required sometimes on waking up from standby. Other times the connection will just drop. I can see the network and the signal is fine, but I cannot access anything.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to what my problem may be?

Thanks

My guess is it's your router. Are you in a congested area where you may be overlaping on someone elses network. If so try changing the channel on your router and see if that helps you out any.

Perhaps a driver issue? Try upgrading your Wifi drivers if possible. I know my old HP (with Vista) had quite a few problems obtaining a signal after "waking up". I didn't keep the darn thing long enough to see if it was driver related, but my Fujitsu has never had a similar problem.
