Wireless DSL network problems

I have a Verizon DSL connection with 3 computers hooked up to it via a wireless connection. Whenever two or more computers on the network are running, the connection keeps dieing. What's going on here?

What do you mean dieing? It slows, or stops?

A little bit of both. It stops every 5 mins or so, and when it's not dead it is slower than usual.

I had a similar question before and what I was told is : if you want a 100% guaranteed connection, wire it up.

Not very practical but I guess wireless networking has a long way to go before it's as fast and reliable as the wired systems.
