beers Moderator Staff member Dec 3, 2013 #3 A lot of phones wifi chipsets don't really have the compute capacity to transmit more than ~20 mbit of data or so. Either will suffice. If you're looking to buy a router, just get an N one, the price difference nowadays is negligible.
