Wireless G Router with 802.11b Laptop?

My Thinkpad T23 has WIFI at 802.11b. I was looking at a Belkin Wireless G router with 54g technology. Is this compatable with the 802.11b?

Normally, If a router is G capable, it is B as well, but you'd just wanna check the specs on the product just to make sure.

I beleive B/G are interchangable, just B is 11MB/s and G is 56. It's A that's the totally different standard.
