Wireless HELP NEEDED (ZyXEL)

Finally got ZyXEL 600 set up and running. I have set a WPA-PSK pass key. But when i try to connect to the network i only get as far as having the pass key confirmed and it will not connect. I just get connection timed out ect.

Im sure i just need to change a setting somewhere but im not sure whats stopping the connection?
 
If you had other wireless connections setup on that pc then delete all existing connections and reset them back up again. Its also possible that the wireless card you are using doesn't support the type of security on the modem/router.
 
It didnt work but thanks for the response! I did think that maybe because the Zyxel 600 is quite old, Maybe my modern phone, macbook ect use a different band/channel or something?
 
Yeess! The WPA2-PSK key seems to work! :D Cheers guys, you have no idea how much stress and time this has taken off me! Many thanks
