Wireless help with gaming suggestions?

Hey guys, ever since i moved my pc upstairs off wired into wireless i find i get alot more lagg spikes in the games i play.
im looking for a solution to this?
can anyone help me out here?
preventing lagg and improving my game performance on wireless

make sure your Drivers for your wireless card are up-to-date, and maybe try updating the firmware on the router.

you could also try moving the router into a slightly better position i.e. away from walls or other electronic equipment.
