Wireless internet connection problem!!

I have just purchased this lapton and for so reason my laptop can only connect to security-enabled network. I cant connect to a network without any password on it. It says The Setting Saved on this computer for the network do not matched the requirement of the network. I have try to set the Encryption type to none,but it still doesnt work. Anybody know why and What I should do?:confused: By the way I'm using windows vista
 
Hm, myabe its some security precuation. Go on the admin computer on your network and make a password, i strongly advise you to do this anyway.

Make sure its a WPA or WPA2 encryption.

If its not that then make sure your wireless standards are the same, you may have a N card in your laptop but your router may be G.

I also suggest trying to plug your laptop directly into your router via ethernet to see if that works.
