Im looking for a good wireless router and cards to set up a 2 computer home network. I need a good router that supports about atleast 100 ft. indoors and will be good for gaming (no one likes a weak or lost signal). And i also need cards fast enough to match that. i dont want to spend any more than 30 for each part seperately. Do you have and suggestions for me? What kinds of things should i look for to guarantee a strong connection and speed for games?

if you want something strong and a guaranteed connection go with the gaming adapter...there are wireless gaming adapter if u want to spend some extra cash for those...

Theres nothing that special amount gaming adapters. Any 802.11g wireless network will work just as good. Those gaming adapters just have pre-programmed prioritization, port fowarding, and different QoS levels.

Just make sure to get an adapter that has a fairly large antenna, and try to avoid the USB ones.

Yes jedijeff123, that would be a great gaming router, doesnt N support like 300 feet, but thats a little over his budget for his current needs.

raoul_1101, I would stick with name brands like Belcan, Netgear, and D-link. Ive never heard of HIRO...

Well, for a router, $100 is my max, I won't spend anymore than that. Are the cards and routers pretty universal, will they be compatable?

What makes this router better than the others?
