wireless internet really slow but not before!

so my internet has been really slow the passed few weeks and ive done everything to try to fix it

my wireless router is a netgear n300 wireless router, i have a belkin wireless receiver

sometimes the internet will work fine and then like now, it will say its connected and then when i try to load a page it tells me connection timed out... then i look down at the connection status and it says disconnected and then it connect back right away but then the internet is really slow

it used to work just fine, i would go to speedtest.net and 18mbps dl and 8 upload so its not a range issue

I would suspect a bad wireless adapter or router. The only way to troubleshoot is to try new different parts. Have you tried updating the firmware on the modem/router? What about upating the wireless adapter driver?
