wireless lynksys router keeps locking up

It locks up about every 2 to 3 weeks. what could the problem be? is it simply the router? Is there a better router out on the market?

what do you mean by locking up.. i never seen a router lock up ?

reset the firmware , update the firmware or load third party firmware.

By locking up do you mean all the link lights go off and on in a pattern instead of blinking like they normally do? That just means it needs a reboot (power cycle).

Deepblue, A router can lock up easily by a connection being stalled.

Im sure a router can lockup but was asking what it did. i have never seen a one before that that i know of.
