My wireless mouse is playing up and I've got little idea what to do.
I have a wireless media desktop plus from labtec, and at first the mouse worked fine. Now it is emitting a very high pitched (and very quiet) noise which I find irritating.
It also doesnt seem to be connecting to the reciever/charger. I press the connect button like it used to work and nothing happens (visibly).
I have taken the batteries out and put them in again, to no improvement, and also restarted the computer etc.
I know the reciever is working because i'm using the keyboard right now to type. So it's a mouse problem.
I wanted to remove the case and see if I could visibly see a problem e.g. short circut etc. but the top seems stiff and I don't want to break it. (I'm not sure my warranty will be valid, if I have warranty, if i do break it).
Possible factor could be interference but that would affect the signal wouldn't it? It appears more a device malfunction.
Anyone got a possible solution, or should I try and get a replacement?
Help greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.
