Wireless network cards

Here is my issue, i just bought a dell xps 720.(please dont hate on dell, i am not skilled enough to build my own computer, and barley have enough confidence to put anything new onto my mobo without thinking it will snap)

I have it with q6600 processors quad core 8mb cache, running xp (heard vista hates wireless), extra pci ports and all. Well i got this computer and realised about half way through my spec descisions that i would need internet. My only modem is down stairs, so i bought the netgear dual band wireless router which uses g and n signals so my brothers psp wont take away from my web surfing. (i was forced to use netgear, my dads company requires there computers be behind these, also im reciving 85% signal from across my house on the g signal great router so far)

my issue is, what should i use to pickup the n signal. usb or pci? is the LINKSYS WMP300N ( http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16833124069) good?

thank you for your time.

I can't really speak for the Linksys WMP300N because I've never used it, but Linksys products in general are good and you most likely won't have a problem with it (just be sure to read reviews before you buy). I like internal PCI wireless cards better because the external USB ones tend to overheat and drop connection more often. I am using an internal one (Dlink wda-1320) and have not had a problem with it. So in that regard I would recommend you pick a PCI wireless device...
