I've got a Linksys WAG200G wireless router, it seems to work well.
I've also got a belkin access point which is at the other side of the house which also works well.
the problem i've got is that my dads pc doesn't like picking up signals for long before thowing a wobbly and not connecting again.
You start it up and it sometimes connects to the (default) Linksys router which is only about 5 feet away. I've used multiple wireless cards in the PC all of different manufactures.
what it does is connects to the router, you can go on the network/internet and then 5 minutes later disconnects and then comes up
"No wireless networks where found in range"
in the wireless network connection window.
I've uninstalled all the third party software and read up about wireless zero services, i've checked the registry values and they seem to be ok.
I've read pages and pages of threads about wireless disconnectiing all the time and none of them are exactly this problem.
i'm convinced it's not the router as my two laptops connect all the time without a glitch to either the router or the access point.
can anybody kick me off with some other solutions or ideas i could try.
thanks
Rich
