well i have a netgear wireless router WGR614 v5 and i have upgraded the firmware but back to the point when i reset the router because of a power sag the wireless light came on for about 3 seconds and went off and the USB adapter detected it for a split second and wouldnt connect, so i reset the router again and it did the same thing so i will let it set over night and se if that helps.
