Hi there. Basically, we have a downstairs computer (with XP) and a netgear router connected to it. The upstairs computer (also on XP) is connected directly to the router (through a hole in the wall). There is also a linksys WAP54G (a wireless access point) attached to the router which enables a connection to my PS3 (in my room) and my laptop.
The connection is ok for some of the time but over the last 2 days, the laptop was saying there that was a wireless or no connectivity issue and that there was only a local connection. I tried to solve this but it only came back today when we turned off the downstairs computer at the mains and it re-established a connection with the laptop. However, the upstairs computer then went with the same message, as if the connection had swapped from the upstairs computer to my laptop.
Any explanations/solutions would be brilliant. Thanks in advance.
